A dinning room fit for a Queen
Caroline’s Breakfast & Brunch in the heart of Christiansted, is our favorite instagram worthy brunch on St. Croix. You may think it’s named after someone’s aunty or grammy but it’s actually cleverly named after the Danish King Frederick V’s wife, Caroline. Not only does Caroline’s Breakfast & Brunch deliver delicious food, but it’s the perfect spot to get some vacay content. It has the most girly stylish interiors we all wish our husbands would let us do back home. Did we mention it’s decked out in PINK, our favorite of course!
With an outside dining patio that over looks the Christiansted Boardwalk, Hotel on the Cay in the background, and the traffic of boats coming and going out of the Harbor, it’s the perfect seat for sipping your morning coffee. Our personal favorite place to sit is inside. The wallpaper reminds us of the Beverly Hills Hotel, the floors are dressed in pink art deco tiles, and the tables adorned with vintage Mosser Depression Glass. It takes us back to a classic Palm Beach style and is perfect for your next instagram photoshoot.
An brunch menu that checks all the boxes
The decent size (pink) menu seems to have something for everybody. From yoghurt parfaits and fruit plates, to three different kinds of Benedicts, build your own omelettes, and the trifecta of waffles, french toast and pancakes. Our favorite things are the Banana’s Foster French Toast, Crab Cake Benedict, and a plate of fruit for aesthetics, it’s all so delicious.
If you’re like me and need three different beverages for breakfast, you’re in luck. They have daily latte & mimosa specials, cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and a full barista set up. Take it from a local, it’s the only spot on island that serves lattes/espresso/cappuccinos with a full breakfast menu.
Conveniently located in the heart of town
Located on the bottom of King Christiansted Hotel, its location is right where the Boardwalk begins. We recommend parking at the National Park Fort Parking Lot (the lot closes at 4:30PM and they faithfully tow. You’ve been warned!)
